Beloved Holy Resurrection Church (HRC) family, wishing you a blessed week.  Today we start Nineveh’s 3 day fast from February 26-28.  Wishing you a spiritually fruitful fast. 

Departure:  In hope of the Resurrection we pray for the soul of our blessed Father Hegumen Raphael Hanna who departed Saturday February 24, 2024 . May Our Lord repose his blessed soul in Paradise of Joy and grant us His Heavenly Peace and Comfort . Blessed Father Raphael Hanna was born in Egypt on October 19,1956. He was ordained priest on July 12,1998 and Hegumen on August 7, 2016. He served in honesty and dedication at Archangel Raphael and St Mina Church in Palmdale and St Mark Church in Los Angeles 

The prayers and funeral arrangements at St. Mark Church in Los Angeles are as follows:

1. Monday February 26 at 1:00 pm – Third day prayer followed by the family receiving condolences 
2. Thursday February 29 at 7:00 pm – Vespers and Midnight praises. The blessed body will be in the church for the prayers and viewing 
3. Friday March 1 at 6:30-9:30 am – Divine Liturgy 
4. Friday March 1 at 10 am – Funeral followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery
