Wishing you a blessed Advent Season!

As we prepare to close 2024, we give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His abundant blessings and unwavering presence throughout this transformative year. Together, as a parish family, we have witnessed tremendous progress in our journey toward building a spiritual home that will serve as a foundation of faith for generations to come.

With gratitude to God, we are delighted to share that our church renovation project continues to move forward by His grace. Since the Feast of Resurrection, we have achieved remarkable milestones:

  • City Planning Review: By God’s grace the City Planning Commission approved the concept.  Currently the architectural plans are under review by the City of Hawthorne, Building and Safety. This critical step brings us closer to breaking ground on a project that will transform our vision into reality.

  • A Talented Team of Contributors: God has blessed us with a dedicated team of professionals, both within and beyond our parish, who have committed their time, expertise, and resources. From construction management and vendor selection to design and contract review, their efforts are paving the way for a truly inspiring church home.

  • Faith in Action: Our community’s prayers, generosity, and unwavering faith have been the foundation of this journey. We trust in the Lord’s continued guidance as we await feedback from the city and seek His provision in finding the right General Contractor for this project.

As we anticipate the coming year, we ask for your prayers and support to help us meet the next milestones of this endeavor of fellowship. To ensure we stay on course, we have set a goal to raise $500,000 by December 31, 2024. Every contribution brings us closer to creating a sanctuary where we can worship, grow, and share God’s love.
